- 2015 Trends We Are (and Aren’t) Thankful For!
This year, we saw the trends we rocked in the 1990s blast back onto the runaway and into our makeup bags. Here are just a few we are happy to see back and a few we wish we could tell, “As If!”
False Eyelashes
Don’t get us wrong, we are a huge fan of fake lashes! They are easy to apply and takes you from daytime chic to an evening showstopper instantaneously. And for a big event, in person or on film, falsies are absolute must. But proceed with caution! Lashes are readily available in almost any beauty store, and even grocery stores, but not every lash is created equal. Using cheap lashes and applying haphazardly often results in a look that is more scary than sexy. Here are some tips to keep in mind if you are going the falsies route: 1. Choose a natural length, 2. Splurge on quality lashes…you can use them again, 3) go for the individual lash application for long term wear, and 4) unless you have mastered the art, allow a professional to do it.
