Word of Caution: Many detanglers are high in protein and moisturizers.  Protein is essential for hair, but too much can make hair hard, brittle and unmanageable. Moisture is also critical, but, again, too much can make hair too soft or limp and unable to hold a curl or style.  The right balance between moisture and protein is the key to healthy hair, but too much of one or the other can totally mess with your hair mojo!
